As already known, the spread of the virus comes from the majority of flash or other USB-based media. One way to prevent this facility off the windows autorun. But for those who want the other way or you want to add more secure so that software can use this free, USB Firewall.
Net-Applications made in this studio, and even simple, but according to his name, is able to prevent the program running without us from the media such as flash.
USB Firewall will block all mem-virus and other programs that try to run away through Flashdisk, when we install Flashdisk on the computer. This application will run in the background (back) and will immediately give warning / alert if any application is running through autorun. Next on the program before we can stop and delete the file.
Unlike anti-virus, firewall does not need the USB update, not because it detects the virus but triggered the spread of the virus detected. USB Firewall can also be used to clean the other disk partition (eg drive D: E: and other) from the autorun applications that take advantage of this.
Operation
After the install program, the application will run in the background. If you have flash or USB device that is installed and the file autorun.inf or have programs that want to run without us, then the program will be active and to inform users. Then we can select the option / menu that has been provided.
-> Show Autorun.inf button, to display the contents of the file autorun.inf. So that we can actually know this file will run the application. About the autorun.inf.
-> The Delete key to delete the file autorun.inf and other files that can be associated with it.
-> Cancel button, to ignore the process and leave if there is a file / application that will run through autorun.inf
-> Minimize button, to return the program running in the backround (behind), appears after we click the Delete key or Cancel
USB Firewall also provides menu / Clean All button to make a Partition scan and delete autorun file, such as those in disk drives (the drive to clean-drive the other from the autorun file)
USB Firewall 1.1.3 can be obtained / downloaded at the following link: USB Firewall 1.1.3 (4.6 MB).
